I tried stronger cleaners such as windex and even carb cleaner. All the pitstops caused fuel with oil of course to get onto the pipe and burn onto it. Never tried it on normal oil though. I have jethot coated headers.
The anti freeze loosened it up nicely and normally you could get the pipe looking good as new. This will void your warranty if they catch ya fastss396man brian. Took a little more off but not all.
